Joe Biden is off from the Presidential race
A key development has taken place in the US presidential election. The current president, Joe Biden, who is standing as the candidate of the Democratic Party, has been facing severe criticism for the past few days. His behavior is infuriating even the leaders of his party. In this background, pressure was brought on Biden to withdraw from the presidential race. In this background, Biden’s decision to leave the election ring has become a sensation. In addition to this, his recent coronavirus infection has turned negative.
Joe Biden dropped out of the US presidential race. Biden has faced fierce opposition from his own party leaders for reasons such as frequently faltering with his forgetfulness and his abject failure in the debate with Trump last month. The leaders of that party openly demanded that he withdraw from the Democratic nomination. Former President Barack Obama is reported to have expressed the same opinion to his close friends. Also, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called Biden and said that she should withdraw from the race. In this background, Joe Biden had to step down under the circumstances.
Biden announced that he is withdrawing from the race in the interests of the party and America. With Biden dropping out, there are still 3 months left for the election, so there is interest in who will run for the Democrats. However, Biden has now declared his full support for Vice President Kamala Harris. He said that he approved of her candidacy. He called on the Democrats to unite and defeat Trump. Also, it is reported that most of the Democratic party leaders are leaning towards Kamala who is of Indian origin. It has been revealed that Kamala has the ability to defeat Trump in many surveys.
Their assessment is that she is the right candidate to face Trump as the time for the election is short. But, California Governor Gavin Newsom and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker are also in the race for the nomination. Michigan Governor Whitmer’s name came up, but she announced that she would not run. This created a competition between Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, and JB Pritzker. The candidate will be chosen at the Democratic Party convention in Chicago between August 19 and 22.
81-year-old Biden is facing many health problems due to his age. Recently, he has been laughing at various stages. Also, he failed miserably in the election debate against Trump on June 27. Joe Biden is currently in isolation at his home in Delaware due to Covid-19. In the recent primaries, 95 percent of the Democratic delegates supported him. Unexpectedly, Joe withdrew and they all had to choose another candidate.
