New Delhi: An extensive police probe was sparked by an email bomb threat that was sent to a school in the Greater Kailash neighbourhood of Delhi. Police were alarmed, but they discovered nothing unusual.
Bomb Threat Email Sent to Delhi’s Greater Kailash School
The staff and pupils were alarmed by the menacing email that said a bomb had been hidden in the school. In a statement, the Delhi Police stated that no explosive evidence had been discovered and that legal action was being taken.
A false bomb threat was reported at Summer Fields School in South Delhi’s Greater Kailash area, tweeted Delhi Police. After some research, nothing was discovered. After being evacuated, the school was carefully inspected.

An email suggesting that a bomb had been planted on the premises was sent to the school around midnight. The authorities acted immediately in response to this concerning warning. The bomb detection unit did a thorough examination and discovered nothing untoward, according to a police officer.
This event occurred only a few months after a comparable threat, thought to have originated in Budapest, Hungary, was delivered to 150 schools around Delhi-NCR.
