Threatening Message to Salman Khan from Lawrence Bishnoi Gang
A threatening message has been sent to Mumbai Traffic Police on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding ₹5 crore from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The sender warned that if Salman wishes to stay safe and end hostilities with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, he must pay the amount. The message cautioned against taking this lightly, adding that if the actor fails to comply, his fate would be worse than that of Baba Siddique. Mumbai Police have registered a case at Worli Police Station and initiated an investigation into the matter.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s Past Threats to Salman Khan
This is not the first time Salman Khan has been targeted by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Since April, the actor has reportedly been on their radar. On June 4, he recorded a statement with Mumbai Police detailing the threats against him. According to his statement, Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang attempted a shooting outside his residence with the help of its members, aiming to harm him and his family. Police arrested the accused and included in the chargesheet that Lawrence Bishnoi had paid ₹20 lakh to six individuals to carry out the attack. The gang allegedly accepted a ₹25 lakh contract to target Salman Khan.
Baba Siddique’s Assassination and the Gang’s Involvement
The murder of Maharashtra’s former minister and senior NCP leader Baba Siddique has been linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. On the night of October 12, Baba Siddique was shot dead, with police reports indicating that three shooters carried out the crime. The gang took responsibility for the assassination, and Mumbai Police are actively investigating the incident. So far, six suspects have been apprehended in connection with the case.
