In contrast to the three-door Thar, the Thar Rocks has a completely redesigned front grille with six double-stacked slots. The Thar 3-door, however, receives 7 slots. Although the headlamps are still rounded in shape, they now have an LED projector arrangement with C-shaped daytime running lamps. Higher variants are expected to get LED fog lamps. The front bumper features a central section made of brushed aluminium and integrated fog lamp housings, among other distinctive design aspects.
The Rocks mid-variant has 18-inch alloy wheels. However, the more expensive models should come with bigger tyre arches and fashionable 19-inch alloy wheels with diamond cuts. While the back door features a distinctive handle positioned vertically, the front door is identical to the conventional Thar. The triangle-shaped rear door quarter glass appears to have been influenced by the Thar EV concept. For the majority of variations, the Thar Rocks will feature a dual-tone paint tint with a contrast black roof, giving it the appearance of a removable hardtop.
Power and Performance:
In the base variant of Thar Roxx, the company has given a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine that generates 162hp power and 330Nm torque. The petrol engine is mated to a manual gearbox. In the diesel option, the company has given a 2.2-liter diesel engine, which generates 152hp power and 330Nm torque. Additionally, a manual gearbox is attached to it.
A Look at The cabin:
The Thar Rocks get the same dashboard as the 3-door on the inside. However, there are certain high-end components, such as the door pads and the dashboard’s soft-touch material. The interior is decorated with a dual-tone theme with a beige colour and a dark dashboard with some contrast bits. Dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation in the top trims make its cabin even better.
