Jharkhand CM provided financial assistance
Many states of the Northeast including Assam are currently battling severe floods. Due to this, there has been a huge loss in the state. Meanwhile, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has extended a helping hand. Hemant Soren deposited a relief amount of Rs 2 crore in the Assam CM Relief Fund. After this, the CM expressed his gratitude to Hemant Soren by posting on Instagram. Also thanked him for this rescue.

Floods wreaked havoc in these districts.
Many districts of Assam are in the grip of floods. In which the state’s Kamrup, Dibrugarh, Morigaon, Shivsagar, Golaghat, Nagaon, Dhemaji, Gwapara, Kamrup Metropolitan, and Cachar districts are affected by the floods. Structures like coasts, houses, roads, dams, and bridges have suffered heavy damage in these affected districts. At the same time, an 8-member inter-ministerial central team completed its 3-day visit to the state on Saturday to take stock of the flood-affected areas.
