SBI PO 2025 Exam: PSU Giant, The State Bank of India (SBI) is currently accepting applications for employment of 541 probationary officer posts. Interested legitimate candidates can apply online by visiting the State Bank of India’s official career portal. The last day the application was submitted is July 14th. Recruitment Drive aims to fill positions at the executive level of branches across all over the country.
As per the exam notification, potential candidates interested in the role of a probation officer for SBI must be between 21 and 30 years old.
The application is open to interested candidates by July 14th, 2025.
The state bank aims to meet the need for roles at the executive level of SBI branches across India.
SBI PO 2025 Exam: How can I apply?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the State Bank of India. (sbi.co.in)
Step 2: Enter the career section of the website.
Step 3: To select the SBI PO 2025 Recruitment link, go to the current share of Job openings.
Step 4: You will need to fill out the required login information, upload the corresponding document, and pay the fee for SBI PO registration.
Step 5: Submit the application and download a copy of the confirmation as a future reference.

SBI PO 2025 Exam Important Dates:
The preliminary exam call letter will be published in the third or fourth week of July 2025. The preliminary exam will be held in July/August, with results announced in August/September.
The call letter for the main exam will be issued in August/September, and the exam will be held in September. The SBI PO final results will be announced in September or October.
Psychometric tests, interviews, and group exercises will be held in October/November. The final results for SBI PO 2025 will be announced in November or December.
SBI PO 2025 Exam: Eligibility Criteria, Selection Process, Application Fee
Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age on April 1, 2025. Age-restricted relaxation is awarded according to the rules mentioned in the notice to the booked category candidates.
Candidates require a degree of comparable qualifications recognized by any discipline of the recognized university or by the central government. It can also be applied to those who are in their last year/degree. However, if you are required to have an interview round, you will need to provide evidence of the final exam before September 30th. Candidates studying dual degrees must provide evidence of the final exam before September 30th.
Candidates with qualifications such as medicine, engineering, auditors, and cost accountants are also applicable.
The selection process consists of three phases:
Phase 1: Preliminary Examination
An online objective test for 100 marks comprising the following sections:

Selection Criteria:
Approximately 10 times the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on overall merit in the Preliminary Exam. There is no sectional cut-off.
Phase 2: Main Examination
This phase consists of both objective and descriptive tests, conducted online.

Selection Criteria for Phase 3
(A) Sectional Cut-offs:
Minimum qualifying marks must be obtained in each objective and descriptive section. Cut-offs are determined based on the number of vacancies.
(B) Aggregate Score:
A merit list will be prepared category-wise based on the aggregate scores. Candidates up to three times the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for Phase 3.
Phase 3: Final Stage
This stage includes:
- Psychometric Test – 20 marks
- Group Exercise – 30 marks
- Personal Interview – 50 marks
The Psychometric Test is conducted for personality profiling. Its findings may be considered during the interview process.
Final Selection
Candidates must qualify in both Phase 2 and Phase 3. The final merit list will be prepared by normalising marks obtained in:
- Phase 2: 75% weightage
- Phase 3: 25% weightage
Note: Marks obtained in Phase 1 (Prelims) will not be considered for final selection.
SBI PO 2025 exam application fees are Rs. 750 for Unreserved/EWS/OBC candidates, and no fees apply to SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
Candidates who are delayed in the context of credit agreements with banks/NBFCS/financial institutions that include credit card fees have not regulated/repaid the outstanding exhibition until the date of issuing an offer letter for the appointment of the offer. Candidates who regulate/repay unpaid payments prior to the date of issuance of the appointment offer will either update their CIBIL status or generate a NOC from the lender because their CIBIL status has not been updated prior to the date of accession. Candidates were encouraged to check/confirm their CIBIL score/status before applying.
