Tata Curvv EV Launch- Price and Features: After a long wait, the country’s leading automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has officially launched its much-awaited coupe-style electric SUV Tata Curvv EV for sale today. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful powertrain, the starting price of this electric SUV has been fixed at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom).





Power and performance:
The company has introduced the Tata Curvv EV with two different battery packs. It has two battery pack options of 55kWh and 45kWh. The company is also offering the option of fast charging with it. The company claims that with the help of 1.2C charging technology, this car can be charged in just 15 minutes and will give you a range of 150 km. Its battery can be charged from 10 to 80% in just 40 minutes with a 70kW charger. With full charge, this car will give a driving range of up to 585 km.
Tata Motors says that Curvv EV has been equipped with many advanced features. In this, the company has used a liquid-cooled permanent magnet powerful electric motor of 123kW capacity. The company claims that this SUV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds.

The company has equipped Tata Curve with some useful features along the lines of its Nexon. It also has vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functions. With the help of the V2V system, you can charge one electric car with another electric car. With the help of V2L, you can power electronic appliances from your car. This car is equipped with Arcade. EV technology. Apart from this, the company has also launched Tata EV Originals through which customers can buy the company’s official accessories.

Tata Motors says that special work has been done to make the cabin of this car premium. It has a 6-way power adjustable driver seat, premium leatherette ventilated seat, second-row seat with recline function, cabin mood lighting with customization system, and 26 cm digital cockpit which comes with multi-dial-view. It also has a blind spot monitoring site and, an arcade. ev facility has also been provided in it which supports more than 20 OTT platforms and apps.

Apart from this, features like 6 airbags (as standard), 3-point ELR seatbelt, seat-belt ankle pretensioner, ISOFIX child seat ankle, 360-degree surround view camera, front parking sensor, stability control program (ESP), emergency braking, JBL cinematic infotainment system are available.
The company says that this electric car has been tested in difficult mountainous areas like Sandakphu, located in the lap of the Himalayas, which is approximately 11,930 feet high. Tata Motors hopes that this SUV will get a 5-star rating in the crash test.
Pedestrian Safety:
We all know that electric cars are silent. Since there is no engine mechanism in them they run on the electric motor. Therefore, they do not produce any kind of sound. In such a situation, electric cars can also prove to be dangerous for other pedestrians walking on the road. For this, Tata Motors has given a new Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS) in its Curvv EV. When the car moves at a slow speed (less than 20 km / h), this sound will be heard by pedestrians. But as soon as the car crosses the speed of 20 km / h, this sound will stop.
